Service Pack 1 for Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 is posted

Adding my voice to the choir. Download here: Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 Service Pack 1 (KB976932).

Here’s some official verbiage:

What is in SP1?

Windows 7 SP1 includes minor updates, including some made previously available through Windows Update.  SP1 also includes client-side support for RemoteFX and Dynamic Memory, two new virtualization features enabled in Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1.

Dynamic Memory allows the allocation of a range of memory (min and max) to individual VMs, enabling the system to dynamically adjust the VM’s memory usage based on demand.  This provides more consistency in system performance enabling better manageability for administrators.

Microsoft RemoteFX leverages the power of virtualized graphics resources and advanced codecs to recreate the fidelity of hardware-assisted graphics acceleration, including support for 3D content and Windows Aero, on a remote user’s device.  This ensures users maintain a rich, local-like desktop experience even in a virtualized environment.

Y’all have fun out there.

I have tried 3 times now to have windows 7 x64 Ultimate automatically instal Windows 7 service pack 1 to no avail.  First, it takes too long to download, too long to instal, but once successfully installed, it cannot configure itself.  It comes up with a fatal error.  I've written to MS on a comment like this before, but no reply.  My machine meets the required SPEC and more, so I don't know what's going on.  I reformatted the HD twice, to have a fresh istall thinking that this would solve the problem, and this is the 5 day on the job without success.  What machine has MS used to test this SP1?  If I know, I buy it.  Am I the only one who is having this problem?
