How search works

Wanna C some thin really cool?

http://www.bing.com/search?q=Orange+Car+Orange+County+John+Smith+Auto+Disneyland

Well, cool until the bean counters mess with it. But did you notice? (If it still works), the first result should be yours truely. And it has nothing to do with any of the words. No orange cars, no disneyland, etc. How come?

Here, try this one:

http://www.bing.com/search?q=inoun+haiku

Notice that? First one again. And what is way so cool is that it happened in about 15 minutes of my post. On ALL of the major search engines.

Well, like I said, until the bean counters mess with it. Or maybe even one of my readers. :-0

The challenge is now on. Can you make me fall off the end of the search results page?

So here is what I am going to do. Right here, right now, I am now officially creating a new Internet game. What better way to learn search but by doing? Think of it as "People vs. Zombies". Well, hm, probably can't do that. Never mind. We will call it People vs Inoun. The rules are simple:

  1. No cheating (I say what is cheating)
  2. Create new, clean, legal, word associations that make sense AND that put you at the top of the search results.
  3. You have to describe why the association makes sense. For example, "inoun haiku's". (Have you read my post?)
  4. Try to knock someone out of the number one position AND describe how you did it in Inoun comments.
  5. Did I say no cheating? I mean it. No cheating. What defines no cheating? Well, since it is my game, whatever I say is cheating. Hiy!

After you do this, you will know how search works.

Have fun, and as my mom used to say, "don't run with scissors" and "it's all fun an games until someone brings a briefcase"

Well, she did say the first one. The second one, I just quoted off of a T-shirt.

Hiy

Inounable - when something "becomes" a true noun...there are so many imposters and so little time. Are you able to be a noun when you feel like a flop?
