ThinkUKnow and Innovation Award

This month ThinkUknow, a joint initiative between Microsoft, Ninemsn and the Australian Federal Police (AFP), was awarded the SC Magazine’s Innovation award at the AusCERT Gala dinner. The award recognises an individual or team that has changed the traditional practice of IT security.

ThinkUKnow is an Internet safety program delivering interactive training to parents, carers and teachers through primary and secondary schools across Australia using a network of accredited trainers.

A great collaboration between law enforcement and industry to make the online environment safer for young Australians. Congratulations to all participants.
