New service for IT professionals

In a world first, The Australian newspaper in partnership with Microsoft launched a new free service targeting IT professionals called “The Hub.”

The launch took place yesterday (February 2) with the Minister for Broadband, Communications and the Digital Economy, Stephen Conroy.

The portal has been incorporated into The Australian newspaper's technology news portal, Australian IT. The site allows readers to follow top stories, blogs and opinions, and track multiple issues and trends, and is supported by Dow Jones.
