SQL Server Certification Statistics
The following table is an extract from the Number of Microsoft Certified Professionals Worldwide as it relates to the SQL Server (including BI) certifications, I thought these numbers make for interesting reading.

Perhaps I will keep track of these numbers over time so will be able to look back in a a couple of months and see how things have changed.
My certification goals for this year remains to complete my Microsoft Certified Master (MCM) SQL Server 2008 despite the fact that it has been delayed from my March registration to later in the year (a personal consequence of the global financial crisis).
