CRM 2011 Webpart in SharePoint

This explains how to make the CRM 4.0 List Webpart work with your CRM 2011 Deployment. It is present "as-is" and is considered a workaround, and not a supported feature within CRM 2011.

Please download the CRM 4.0 List Webpart from below:

https://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?displaylang=en&id=20651

Run the setup and install it on your server in the Sharepoint Webapplication you prefer.

Note: There is no need to upload the solution .wsp file like you did with the CRM 2011 document integration

Once the setup has finished, the webpart is available on the web application

Create a new page within a SharePoint site, and edit it:

Click Insert > webpart >Miscellaneous and the “List Web Part for Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0” is placed here for selection.

Note: You might also see the Microsoft Dynamics CRM List Components here if you have it installed in the same SharePoint

Select the “List Web Part for Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0” and click Add

Click Page > Save and close and the page is ready.

Click the webpart for edition:

You start the configuration by typing the CRM URL:

Click GO and select the Organization, Entity and view

When all set, click OK at the bottom.

CRM webpart is now working in SharePoint

In summary, the CRM 4.0 List Web part works with CRM 2011.

Note:

If you face an Unauthorized error message when configuring the webpart, make sure the user you are using for the configuration is a CRM one and that, if you have a multiple tier environment, you have Delegation and SPNs set properly.

Can you open one of the CRM Entities from that list and see it in a detail form? And, does it support making updates?

It does not allow me to install the list webpart. Says I do not have SP 2007 installed on my server. I got SP 2010. Any workarounds available here?
