Do you want to work on the team that enables Windows to run on new devices? Do you have strong development skills coupled with passion for technology? Do you have passion for developers and would like to help make Windows better for devices? If yes, the Embedded Windows Team needs you. Come be a part of an experienced team of developers chartered to build and enhance the technology and infrastructure to enable the development of Windows Powered devices like Set top boxes, Point of sale, Windows based terminals, Industrial, medical and many others. You will get to be a part of the team that makes Windows run on these devices and build the new set of development tools that will enable our customers to create cool devices running Embedded Windows.
This position requires a bright developer with 5+ years of industry experience, great design, coding and debugging skills and passion for problems solving. This person must be able to design, schedule, produce high-quality code. Must work well with Program Management to ensure that we build the right features to meet real customers requirements and work well with test to independently verify that the product meets requirements and expectations. Technical skills: C/C++, COM, Win32, C# / managed code and experience in UI and/or middleware development. A strong understanding of low level OS concepts including interrupt processing, device drivers, memory management and storage as well as experience in kernel mode programming is a plus. A BA/BS or MS in Computer Science or related technical discipline is desired.
