Bug Contest for Windows Embedded Standard CTP
Interested in winning a Digital Photo Frame like the one pictured here? We are holding a bug challenge for the Windows Embedded Standard Community Technology Preview (CTP). There will be 12 digital photo frames given away to the winners of the challenge. You have until July 3rd to download the CTP and report any bugs you find through the Feedback forms available on the Connect site. Twelve winners will be selected based on submitting the most unique and useful feedback in each of the categories listed below. Read the complete rules here.
- Product installation on a developer machine
- Silverlight feature
- Kernel-Mode Driver Framework feature
- System Center Configuration Manager 2007 Advanced Client pre-requisites macro component
- Sysprep feature
- Terminal Server Client with RDP version 6.1 feature
- Microsoft Windows Imaging Component (WIC)
- Microsoft XML Paper Specification Essentials Pack feature
- Embedded Enabling Features
- Network Access Protection (NAP) feature
- “Black Hole” Router Detection feature
- Any of the other features or functionality
To help you in your testing, we have created a list of new and/or updated scenarios that are enabled using Windows Embedded Standard. We encourage you to deploy these scenarios in your environment and submit any and all feedback using the Feedback forms that are available on the site. If you have any questions please post a thread on the Windows Embedded Standard MSDN forum. The product team will be monitoring the forum and responding as quickly as possible.
