Everyone starts somewhere.....

Welcome to my blog! It’s just getting rolling, so sorry if things are a bit slow to start. I’m definitely a neophyte in the land of bloggers.

 

As you can probably tell, my name is Eric, and I’m on the Platforms Critical Problem Resolution (CPR) team. Most of my work these days is in the heart of what people call directory services…..Active Directory, Active Directory Application Mode, user authentication (Kerberos, etc.), random associated services (DNS, AD API's, etc.) and a few other odds and ends. Like any good techie, I do wander out of my comfort zone from time to time and touch other components, but there's usually a painful and/or funny story associated with each of these journeys.

 

While this blog will definitely have a directory services spin, I think that from time to time I’ll wonder out of my little world and touch on other interesting things (where the definition of the word “interesting” is left to the reader). With that, we're off!
