Women and Depression Conference!

My fiance Yil is speaking at the Women and Depression Conference in Sydney from the 6th to the 9th of April on:

Through Yil’s experiences working within many corporates, I was truly amazed to find that depression has such a stigma attached to it, even after so much awareness has been raised by organisations like Beyond Blue and depressioNet.

The idea that someone may have to overcome the challenges of building a career in the corporate world (or anywhere really) while cloaking their depression for fear of discrimination is pretty horrible, but the whole idea behind Yil’s presentation is that with the right awareness and support initiatives in place, those with depression will find the understanding they need to build successful careers across a number of industries and organisations. Go Yil! You rock!
