  • Steve Ballmer looks at high level trends in the computing industry, outlines Microsoft's strategic investments, its direction & expands on the platform announced at PDC 08.
  • Gianpaolo Carraro, Senior Director, Drills into Microsoft Azure, Microsoft's "Cloud Computing" Software + Services Platform with slides & demos.
  • Tim Sneath, Director, gives a preview of the new features of Windows 7.

At 3:30pm Thurs 6th Nov in Australia, (8:30pm Wed 5th Nov USA West coast). Steve Ballmer will speak to Australian Developers about Software-plus-Services & the new Cloud Computing Platform Microsoft launched last week. The venue is sold out, but you can watch it online. He will speak for ~ 1 hr & will be followed by 2 Microsoft Directors, one expanding on the Cloud Computing Platform & the other demo-ing what Windows 7 has to offer.
