New version of Process Explorer is available

A new version of Process Explorer (8.60) is now available. Here's what's new (taken from the linked site):

What's new in Version 8.60:

  • Multi-row tabs on process properties dialog
  • Image signing verification on process image properties dialog
  • Mini-CPU usage graph on toolbar
  • Command-line option for specifying Process Explorer priority
  • Manual refresh (F5) forces recheck of job and .NET process status
  • Single-clicking on tray icon minimizes and restores main window

In case you haven't seen it, it's an incredible replacement for the Task Manager among other things - and it's free! The author, Mark Russinovich, is one of the authors (along with David Solomon) of the Windows Internals book. The latest, Microsoft Windows Internals, Fourth Edition: Microsoft Windows Server(TM) 2003, Windows XP, and Windows 2000, is due out soon. I had a chance to go to David Solomon's Windows internals class at PDC last year and learned a lot.

SysInternals has put out a bunch of great free utilities. Check them out!
