Analyze your netflix rental statistics

There is a Netflix rental analysis tool available here. It has instructions on how to get your rental history emailed to you. You then save it to a text file and submit it in a form. It shows you a bunch of interesting statistics. It's interesting (but not surprising) to see how my rental rate goes way up in the summer when the tv season is over. I've averaged 8 DVDs per month over the last 3 years, so it looks like I'm getting a great deal out of netflix. Plus, I love the convienience and the ability to get TV series a DVD at a time.

FYI, your link to NetFlix seems to have a typo -- it's pointing to www.netflex.com, which appears to be a frameset pointing to www.netflix.com.

Your entry happened to convince me to finally subscribe to NetFlix like I've been intending to do, so I clicked your link and started filling out the subscription form. When it came time to enter the credit card information, I gave a glance around the page and noticed that although it claimed to be a secure site, the URL was http://. And when I looked closer, I realized that it wasn't even www.netflix.com, but rather www.netflex.com. It made for a chilling moment when I realized I was entering my credit card info into what appeared to be a phishing site :)

As far as I can tell, it doesn't appear to be malicious (though I typed https://www.netflix.com/ into the address bar before completing the registration process), but you should probably fix the link :)
