If you are at all involved with developing drivers then just about everything Mark Russionvich writes should be required reading.  In his most recent post he describes how a buggy driver can result int process which cannot be terminated, even by loggin off.  His notmyfault tool is an excellent way to see the effects of common driver bugs.

    Yup. In fact Sysinternals's web site should be added to your "Windows Driver Links" section over there on the right ---->

    Good point. I have his blog on my blog roll. Now Sysinternals is on the driver links list.
