Dynamics AX Partnership: What It Means

Monday’s announcement of Sitecore’s new partnership with Microsoft Dynamics is exciting news indeed. I, personally, could not be more excited. Foremost, it reiterates that Sitecore is investing deeply to be a market-leading player in the commerce space.

For Commerce Server customers, partnership with Dynamics AX will bring an unprecedented level of native ERP integration coupled with major new feature-sets in point-of-sale, loyalty programs, customer service, and order management. It makes an already strong path forward for Commerce Server customers even stronger.

For Sitecore and prospective customers, we are now in a position to build a differentiated platform that offers a comprehensive commerce feature-set with an unparalleled level of technical integration – all on the Microsoft platform. The lines of content, commerce, marketing, retail, and supply chain are going to be disruptively blurred. 

I personally realize that many of you have questions. And want details. We realize that. We are working around the clock and have been since the day this transaction closed to work through these things – all the while doing right by both prospective and current customers. Our commitment to the Commerce Server customer-base and being a market-leading player in commerce is stronger than ever. We’ll share more soon.
