Trucks and Technology

2009F-150_3  I have been a Ford Fan for as long as I can remember.  I sold my 1988 Ford F-150 Lariat to get the money for the down payment on my first house.  I have camped, hunted, fished, 4 wheeled, dated, eaten, slept in, and worked from a F-150.  I have some history with Fords.  This last week at CES Microsoft and Ford Worked together to sponsor a tent showing off Fords vehicles (including the new F-150), and Microsoft's SYNC technology.  There is a great interview with Ford CEO Alan Mulally where he talks about Ford and Microsoft and the SYNC technology.  The showcase vehicle is of course an F-150.

So while we are here it would be worth mentioning that Ford has done a series of commercial spots around the F-150 and some of its strengths.  Mike Rowe of Dirty Jobs fame provides the voice and star power for these commercials.  It is worth spending a few minutes watching this content from Fords site.

Sorry for the links, but for reasons I cannot understand both of these segments were produced using Flash instead of my preferred Silverlight.
