Windows 8.1 preview build reboots every 2 hours

Today’s blog is regarding the expiration of the Windows 8.1 preview build which occurred yesterday January 15th, 2014.  If you installed the Windows 8.1 preview build and have not upgraded to 8.1 RTM you may notice that your machine is rebooting itself every 2 hours and you should also be getting the following notification when you login

For more information on this and how to update to the final RTM build take a look at the following page:

Why does MS think they need to reboot my machine ever 2 hours? This is a preview version, it's not a pirated version!!! They don't even do this with pirated software! Stupid.

As the previous comments, how am I'm supposed to be able to download and install the full version if you keep rebooting my machine every two hours?! I'm sitting on a quite slow connection and it wont even save the download progress when the reboot happens, instead I have to start from scratch with the download. Which means I will not be able to download the update. At least put in some check so that while the update is downloading you will not reboot the machine, geez, this is seriously frustrating!

Msoft has finally drove me away for good -- I cannot download the 8.0 again, and I cannot backup all my files (2GB+) in the 2 hours even with a new 3TB hard drive on USB3.0 ! Idiots who do not care about their customers would do this (after they remove the start button)...abandon MS everyone, go to Linux!

When you downloaded and installed the preview, did it not warn you that the preview will expire on January 15th? Didn't you receive the error message above stating that "When it expires, your PC will restart every two hours."? Seems like you had plenty of warning.

I currently have windows 8.1 preview. I need to upgrade to windows 8.1. My computer restarts every 2 hours. Every time I got to the store, half the time i says there is no internet connection when I already have a connection that is perfectly fine. When I can hit the download button, the download is so slow my computer restarts and when i go back to the store after the reeboot i have to start from 0 percent. it is impossible for me to get windows 8.1 because my computer reboots before anything can finish.
