Tuple<T1, T2, T3, T4, T5, T6, T7>.IStructuralEquatable.GetHashCode Method

Microsoft Silverlight will reach end of support after October 2021. Learn more.

Calculates the hash code for the current Tuple<T1, T2, T3, T4, T5, T6, T7> object by using a specified computation method.

Namespace:  System
Assembly:  mscorlib (in mscorlib.dll)

Syntax

'Declaration
Private Function GetHashCode ( _
    comparer As IEqualityComparer _
) As Integer Implements IStructuralEquatable.GetHashCode
int IStructuralEquatable.GetHashCode(
    IEqualityComparer comparer
)

Parameters

Return Value

Type: System.Int32
A 32-bit signed integer hash code.

Implements

IStructuralEquatable.GetHashCode(IEqualityComparer)

Remarks

This member is an explicit interface member implementation. It can be used only when the Tuple<T1, T2, T3, T4, T5, T6, T7> instance is cast to an IStructuralEquatable interface.

the method simply wraps a call to the comparer object's IEqualityComparer.GetHashCode implementation.

The algorithm used to compute the hash code should return the same hash code for two Tuple<T1, T2, T3, T4, T5, T6, T7> objects that are considered to be equal.
