Creates a symmetric decryptor object using the specified key and initialization vector (IV).

Parameters

  • key
    Type: array<System.Byte[]
    The secret key to use for the symmetric algorithm.
  • iv
    Type: array<System.Byte[]
    The initialization vector to use for the symmetric algorithm.

Type: System.Security.Cryptography.ICryptoTransform
A symmetric decryptor object.

Exceptions

Exception Condition
ArgumentNullException

key is nulla null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic).

ArgumentException

The initialization vector iv is an invalid size.
