To share a printer with Macintosh users
Open Printers and Faxes.
Right-click a printer, and then click Properties.
On the Sharing tab, click Shared as, and type a name.
On the General tab, in Location, type the place where users can find their print jobs.
For example, you can type the room number where the shared printer is located.
Notes
To open Printers and Faxes, click Start, and then click Printers and Faxes.
Macintosh users can gain access to any printing device on a computer running Services for Macintosh. Unlike clients running Windows XP and Windows 2000, those running Windows NT 4.0 need to run AppleTalk to access Macintosh volumes and AppleTalk printers.
Print Server for Macintosh is not available on the 64-bit versions of the Windows operating systems.
