Designing the User Interface for ActiveX Documents

Designing an ActiveX document's User Interface has some similarities, and some major differences, to designing the User Interface for a standard application. Similarities include the ability to add forms and menus to the project. However, the differences result from one overwhelming fact: The ActiveX document is always viewed in a container. In other words, the User Interface of your ActiveX document will always be viewed within the context of another application.
