AllowInsert Property

Specifies whether to permit insert operations against a data source. Read/write at design time and run time.

Logical data type. The following table lists the settings for lValue.

lValue	Description
True (.T.)	Permit insert operations. (Default) When the CursorAdapterInsertCmd Property property is empty (""), Visual FoxPro generates a SQL INSERT - SQL Command command automatically. For more information, see Data Access Management Using CursorAdapters.
False (.F.)	Does not permit insert operations.

AllowInsert does not affect the ability to insert a row into the cursor itself.
