Detailed Description

The Get-SCComputerTier cmdlet gets one or more Virtual Machine Manager (VMM) Computer Tier objects.

Indicates that this cmdlet retrieves a full list of all subordinate objects independent of the parent object. For example, the command Get-SCVirtualDiskDrive -All retrieves all virtual disk drive objects regardless of the virtual machine object or template object that each virtual disk drive object is associated with.

Examples

Example 1: Get a computer tier for a specific service

The first command gets the service object named Service01, and then stores the object in the $Service variable.

The second command gets the computer tier for the service stored in $Service, and then stores the object in the $ComputerTier variable.

The last command displays the properties of the computer tier stored in $ComputerTier.
