Virtual Machine Manager Add-in Reference

The reference material for the Virtual Machine Manager (VMM) SDK is has a single namespace and three classes. For more information about how to use the managed reference classes, see Base Classes.

Managed Reference Namespaces

• Microsoft.SystemCenter.VirtualMachineManager.UIAddIns

  Contains all the classes needed to create a new Virtual Machine Manager console add-in.

Classes

• ActionAddInBase

  The base class for action add-ins that provides a method that is called by the console when the corresponding ribbon button is clicked.

• ViewAddInBase

  The base class for an add-in that supplies a view to the console.

• VmmAddInBase

  Base class for all types of console add-ins.

Interfaces

• IWindowHelper

  Allows a window to be parented to the Virtual Machine Manager console.
