Lists the file extensions of the types of supported Web pages. Each extension is associated with a particular file type.

The following table lists the possible file types.

File Type

Description

lhtm, html

Web page that uses standard HTML.

shtm, shtm

Web page that includes server-side code.

htx

Web page that is used as a form template.

asp

Web page that contains active server page (ASP) code.

alx

HTML layout control file.

asa

Usually the global.asa file, which contains application events, session events, <object> declarations, and TypeLibrary declarations. There is only one global.asa file per application.
