Production Order Statistics Window

Shows statistical information about the production order’s direct material and capacity costs and overhead as well as its capacity need in the time unit of measure.

Note

Amounts in the statistics window are in the same currency as the production order.

For each cost type, the information is provided in the following columns.

Column Description

Standard Cost

Based on the standard unit cost from the item card of the production item and the order quantity.

Expected Cost

Based on a roll-up of the cost amount of the production order components and capacities.

Actual Cost

Based on the consumed quantity x unit cost of components and capacities.

Dev %

Deviation in percent between standard cost and actual cost.

Variance

Variance between standard cost and actual cost.

Production order statistics are provided in the following lines.

Line Description

Material Cost

Shows the material cost amount of all production order components under lines in the production order.

Capacity Cost

Shows the cost amount of all production capacities (machine and work centers) that are used for lines in the production order.

Subcontracted Cost

Shows the subcontracted cost amount of all the lines in the production order.

Material Overhead

Shows the material overhead amount of all the lines in the production order.

Capacity Overhead

Shows the capacity overhead amount of all the lines in the production order.

Total Cost

Shows the sum of the lines in each column.

Capacity Need

Shows the total capacity need of all the lines in the production order.

Warning

For production orders that use the Make-to-Order manufacturing policy, the window only shows material and capacity cost of items at the highest BOM level.
