How to: Enter Comments for Production BOMs

You can enter comments for production BOMs. The comments entered are valid for the entire production BOM.

To enter comments for production BOMs

In the Search box, enter Production BOM, and then choose the related link.
Open the relevant production BOM from the list.
On the Navigate tab, in the Prod. BOM group, choose Comments.
In the Comment Sheet window, enter any text in the Comment field.
In the Date field, specify when the comment applies.
Close the window.
