How to: Send Data to Other Programs
You can export data from Microsoft Dynamics NAV to other programs, such as Microsoft Office Word or Excel.
You can export data from card windows and lists.
Before you can export data, an administrator must set up a style sheet for the program that you want to export to. For more information, see Security, Database, and Other Administration.
To send data to other programs
Open the window that contains the data that you want to export, for example, a customer card.
In the Application menu, choose Print & Send, and then choose Microsoft Excel or Microsoft Word.
The program that you selected opens and a new document is created with the exported data.
