Installing Visual Studio Tools

Visual Studio Tools integrate with Visual Studio and enable developers to create managed code for Microsoft Dynamics AX. These tools and functionality enable you to create managed code that accesses X++ objects. They also let you create or modify Enterprise Portal controls or SQL Server Reporting Services reports.
In order to use the Visual Studio Tools, you must first install them as part of the standard Microsoft Dynamics AX installation process. For more information, see Install Visual Studio Tools in the Installation Guide.
