A details form is the primary form type that you use to enter data into Microsoft Dynamics AX. You use a details form to view, edit, and act upon a record. You can add the following types of details forms:
A form that shows a record as a single document that includes all of the fields for the record.
A form that shows a record as a document that includes a header and a collection of related lines.
