Verifies that the specified security token is valid.

Parameters

Remarks

WSE calls the VerifyToken method of the security token manager for each security token contained in an incoming SOAP message after it has been deserialized.

Typically, you would override this method to perform authentication of the security token.

Notes to Implementers: Throw an exception if verification fails.

Notes to Inheritors: The default implementation of this method performs no action.

Thread Safety

Any public static (Shared in Visual Basic) members of this type are thread safe. Any instance members are not guaranteed to be thread safe.
