This topic provides information about the internal business management server in a Commerce Server 2007 enterprise deployment. This server is a test Web server that also runs the business management applications, such as Catalog Manager and Marketing Manager. This server allows for internal users to update various aspects of the retail Web site in a test environment that will not disrupt the run-time site and services.
The internal business management server lets you test and approve site updates before publishing them to the production environment.
