How to Modify a Payment Method

You use the Commerce Server Customer and Orders Manager to modify existing payment methods. You can also modify the language that displays to the user for a specific payment method. After you make the modifications to the payment method, you must refresh the site cache to have the modifications appear on the Web site.
To modify a payment method
Click Start, point to Microsoft Commerce Server 2007 , and then click Customer and Orders Manager.
In Commerce Server Customer and Orders Manager, in the Views pane, click Payment Methods.
In the Payment Methods screen, double-click the payment method that you want to modify.
In the Payment Method screen, on the Properties tab, do the following:

Enabled
Select Yes to activate the payment method or No to deactivate the payment method from the drop-down list.
Enabled indicates that the payment method will display on the site as a method of payment.
Date created
View the system-assigned date that indicates when you created the payment method.
You cannot edit this box.
Last modified
View the system-assigned date that indicates when you last modified the payment method.
You cannot edit this box.
Payment type
Select the payment type from the drop-down list.
Pipeline Name
Type the pipeline name.
See your site developer for the pipeline name.
Group ID
View the GUID assigned by the system to group the same payment methods in different languages.
You cannot edit this box.
Default Language
Specify this language as the default language.
Language
Type the name of the language to use for this payment method.
Use this box to specify the language that the payment method is to display in.
Name
Type the display name of the payment method in the language selected.
Description
Type the description of the payment method in the language selected.
Add
Define the payment method in another language.
Delete
Delete the selected language from this payment method definition.
Click Save and close on the toolbar to save the modified payment method.
To refresh the site cache
Click Start, point to Microsoft Commerce Server 2007 , and then click Customer and Orders Manager.
In Commerce Server Customer and Orders Manager, in the Views pane, click Payment Methods.
In the Tasks pane, click Refresh Site Cache.
