API NuGet in Visual Studio

Oltre all'interfaccia utente e alla console di Gestione pacchetti in Visual Studio, NuGet esporta anche alcuni servizi utili che possono essere usati da altre estensioni. Queste interfacce consentono ad altri componenti in Visual Studio di interagire con NuGet, che può essere usato per installare e disinstallare i pacchetti e ottenere informazioni sui pacchetti installati.

NuGet fornisce servizi tramite due tecnologie diverse, ognuna delle quali ha le interfacce definite in un pacchetto NuGet diverso. I servizi meno recenti di NuGet sono disponibili tramite Managed Extensibility Framework (MEF), disponibili nel pacchetto NuGet.VisualStudio (passare ai servizi MEF di NuGet). Sono disponibili API più recenti, progettate per essere utilizzabili con async il codice, disponibili nel pacchetto NuGet.VisualStudio.Contracts, usando i servizi negoziati di IServiceBroker NuGet .

Versioni dei pacchetti

Il prodotto NuGet segue la versione di Visual Studio, ma è la versione 11.0 sottostante. Ad esempio, NuGet 6.0 corrisponde a Visual Studio 2022 17.0, NuGet 5.11 corrisponde a Visual Studio 2019 16.11 e così via.

A partire da Visual Studio 17.1, i pacchetti API di estendibilità di Visual Studio di NuGet corrispondono alla versione di Visual Studio di destinazione delle API. Ad esempio, è consigliabile usare il pacchetto NuGet.VisualStudio e NuGet.VisualStudio.Contracts versione 17.1.0 quando l'estensione è destinata a Visual Studio 17.1 e versioni successive. In Visual Studio 17.0 e versioni precedenti, le versioni del pacchetto NuGet sono identiche alla versione del prodotto NuGet. Ad esempio, se l'estensione è destinata a Visual Studio 2022 versione 17.0, è consigliabile usare la versione 6.0 dei pacchetti di estendibilità di Visual Studio di NuGet.

Sdk client NuGet nelle estensioni di Visual Studio

Nelle estensioni di Visual Studio sono supportate solo le API in NuGet.VisualStudio e NuGet.VisualStudio.Contracts . NuGet fornisce reindirizzamenti di binding per questi assembly, quindi questi assembly non devono essere inclusi nell'estensione.

L'uso di pacchetti SDK client NuGet, ad esempio NuGet.Protocol, non è supportato nelle estensioni di Visual Studio. NuGet non fornisce reindirizzamenti di associazione per questi assembly. Per altre informazioni, vedere i criteri di supporto di NuGet Client SDK.

Queste interfacce sono progettate per consentire ai sistemi di progetto di interagire con NuGet, consentendo al sistema di progetto di notificare a NuGet le modifiche apportate a PackageReferences e orchestrare gli aggiornamenti batch. Le estensioni di Visual Studio che non sono sistemi di progetto probabilmente non trarranno vantaggio da queste API.

Uso dei servizi NuGet

Avviso

Non usare altri tipi oltre alle interfacce pubbliche nel codice e non fare riferimento ad altri assembly NuGet, ad esempio NuGet.Protocol.dll, NuGet.Frameworks.dlle così via.

Per ottimizzare le promesse di compatibilità con le versioni precedenti apportate, ma offrendo anche la flessibilità necessaria per implementare nuove funzionalità, miglioramenti delle prestazioni e correzioni di bug in Visual Studio, non è supportato l'SDK del client NuGet usato in Visual Studio e non vengono forniti reindirizzamenti di binding in assembly devenv.exe.config diversi dai contratti di estendibilità di Visual Studio.

Se si vuole una nuova API correlata a NuGet in Visual Studio, cercare il repository Home di NuGet e richiamare eventuali problemi esistenti se ne viene trovata una simile. Se non è possibile trovare una richiesta di funzionalità esistente da richiamare, crearne una.

  1. Installare il NuGet.VisualStudio.Contracts pacchetto nel progetto, nonché Microsoft.VisualStudio.SDK.

Servizi MEF

  1. Installare il pacchetto NuGet.VisualStudio nel progetto che contiene l'assembly NuGet.VisualStudio.dll.

    In NuGet 5.11 e versioni precedenti il pacchetto imposta automaticamente la proprietà Incorpora tipi di interoperabilità del riferimento all'assembly su True. I criteri di Visual Studio 2022 relativi all'incorporamento dei tipi di interoperabilità sono stati modificati, quindi il pacchetto NuGet.VisualStudio versione 6.0.0 e successive non lo usano più.

Informazioni sui sistemi di progetto .NET

Quando sono stati aggiunti progetti di stile SDK per .NET Core 1.0, è stato progettato per essere più asincrono rispetto ai sistemi di progetto di Visual Studio precedenti. Questo ha un impatto sul modo in cui tutti gli altri componenti di Visual Studio interagiscono direttamente con esso o anche se altri componenti, ad esempio NuGet. Questo aspetto è più evidente sul carico della soluzione e sul caricamento dei progetti, in cui i progetti non sono completamente disponibili dopo che le notifiche sincrone dell'API sincrone precedenti di Visual Studio sono già state attivate.

Durante il caricamento della soluzione, NuGet ignora IVsSolutionEvents.OnAfterProjectLoad, per evitare di ritardare la parte sincrona del caricamento della soluzione. NuGet sincronizzerà le strutture di dati interne dopo il completamento della parte sincrona del caricamento della soluzione. Questo vale anche per i progetti di tipo non SDK.

Anche dopo il completamento di tutti i IVsSolutionEvents.OnAfterSolutionLoad gestori eventi, segnala solo la fine della parte sincrona del caricamento della soluzione. La parte asincrona del caricamento della soluzione è ancora in corso. Pertanto, se l'estensione chiama API NuGet come GetInstalledPackagesAsync o InstallPackage poco dopo il caricamento del progetto o della soluzione, NuGet potrebbe generare un InvalidOperationException messaggio simile a "L'operazione non è riuscita come dettagli per il progetto {nome progetto} non è stato possibile caricare.".

Quando una soluzione contiene almeno un progetto di stile SDK, NuGet eseguirà automaticamente un ripristino dopo il caricamento della soluzione e non è necessario chiamare alcuna API NuGet fino al completamento. È possibile usare IVsNuGetProjectUpdateEvents per ricevere una notifica quando la soluzione viene ripristinata o quando viene ripristinato un progetto specifico, completare. Se una soluzione non contiene progetti di stile SDK, il ripristino non verrà pianificato automaticamente e potrebbe non verificarsi fino a quando non viene pianificata una compilazione.
