Description

The specified data type is not valid for columns. Valid data types are Boolean, Char, Integer, BigInteger, Decimal, Option, Enum, Text, Code, TextConst, Label, DateTime, Time, Date, DateFormula, Duration, Guid, RecordId, TableFilter, String, Blob, Media, Variant and MediaSet.

From Business Central 2021 release wave 1, report columns can no longer be of the type 'Variant'. For more information, see Compiler Error AL0638.
