Utilizzare la AffectedRows proprietà per determinare il numero di record interessati dall'operazione di aggiornamento. Questa proprietà viene comunemente usata per verificare che il numero corretto di record sia stato aggiornato nelle situazioni seguenti:
Verificare che sia stato aggiornato solo un singolo record. A volte un'istruzione di aggiornamento scritta in modo non corretto può aggiornare più record.
Verificare che un record sia stato aggiornato quando si verifica un errore durante l'operazione di aggiornamento che non genera un'eccezione.
Verificare che un record sia stato aggiornato quando un controllo origine dati che supporta il rilevamento dei conflitti (controllo della concorrenza ottimistica), ad esempio i SqlDataSource controlli e ObjectDataSource , ha la relativa ConflictDetection proprietà impostata sul valore di
ConflictOptions.CompareAllValuesenumerazione. In questa impostazione, un record modificato da un altro utente contemporaneamente potrebbe non essere aggiornato.
