Sending an email about a task
Advanced users of Outlook make good use of Tasks to manage their day to day 'to do' list. As I work through my tasks I often find that I need to email someone about the task I'm working on. There's a natty shortcut in Outlook that can speed up this process. By dragging the task onto the Mail button in the navigation pane Outlook instantly creates a new email messages containing the task title in the subject line and the task details in the body of the message. I find this eliminates a load of typing helping me work through my task list at turbo-charged speeds.
