SQL Server 2008 R2: Multi Server Management Feature Survey

As we are nearing to the release of SQL Server 2008 R2, I have been presenting about its new features and one that reasonates well amongst the DBAs is the multi server management. DBAs see this as a great way of getting insight into planned consolidated SQL Server environements. It not only helps from understanding the current utilisation but also from capacity planning perspective, which becomes quite important when running a consolidated or SQL Server as a service.

One common question I get is about the support for previous versions and I have to SIGH and give the answer that it will only support SQL Server 2008 R2, which is great if you plan to implement your consolidated environment on SQL Server 2008 R2, bearing in mind that your applicaitons will be supported on this platform.

Would you be more inclined to implement this feature in SQL Server 2008 R2 if it provided the ability to manage SQL Server 2005, 2008 and 2008R2? I would like to collect your feedback in the below 5 question survey. It should take you less than 30 seconds to fill up. I appreciate your feedback.
