SharePoint 2013 Preview - Pre-requisites download links

Hi,

If you're installing SharePoint 2013 Preview on Windows 2008 R2, you need to install some pre-requisites. If your server is connected on Internet, you can use the prerequisiteinstaller.exe tool to download automatically the prerequisites.

All the pre-requisites list is available in this technet article.

But in the most cases, servers are not connected to Internet, and you need to do an "offline" installation. In this case, you need to download the pre-requisites files and to install it first.

There are here the complete list of SharePoint 2013 pre-requisites files and download links :

• Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5
• Windows Management Framework 3.0 (CTP2)
• Microsoft SQL Server 2008 r2 Native Client
• Windows Identity Foundation (KB974405)
• Microsoft Sync Framework Runtime v1.0 SP1 (x64)
• Windows Server AppFabric
• Windows Identity Extensions
• Microsoft Information Protection and Control Client
• Microsoft WCF Data Services 5.0
• CU Package 1 for Microsoft AppFabric 1.1 for Windows Server (KB2671763)

Note that if you need to automate it, there is already a very cool tool to download automatically all pre-requisites with a PowerShell script.

Bonjour,

Si vous installez SharePoint 2013 Preview sur Windows 2008 R2, vous devez installer une série de pré-requis. Si votre serveur est connecté à Internet, vous pouvez utiliser l'outil prerequisiteinstaller.exe pour les télécharger automatiquement (fichier fournit dans le répertoire d'installation de SP2013).

Tous les pré-requis sont détaillés dans cet article sur Technet.

Toutefois, dans la plupart des cas, les serveurs ne sont pas connectés, et on doit utilisé une installation dite "offline". Dans ce cas, vous devrez télécharger et installer les pré-requis manuellement.

Vous pouvez remarquer que vous pouvez également utiliser l'outil disponible ici pour télécharger automatiquement les pré-requis grâce à un script PowerShell.

  Thank you. that was very useful. When sharepoint is run from auto loaded iso (server 2012).. The prerequisite installer errors out on reboot because it doesnt find the drive. the switch  /continue doesn't install the remaining prereqs
