George is back from Afghanistan
To those of you who remember me, I was in Afghanistan for the last year serving with the US Army Psychological Operations. Microsoft was more then generous enough to hold my job and pay my salary while I was gone so that I wouldn't suffer any financial hardship while I was over there. I got back into the US on February 20, and returned to work on March 15, 2007. I'm slowly getting caught up on webcast issues and customer feedback. Bryan Baker and his company Exsilio Consulting was kind enough to cover down on their role and my role while I was gone for the last year. Bryan's done a fantastic job while I was gone, and he here's this week at Redmond helping to get me up to speed on MSDN Webcasts and all MSDN webcasts and virtual labs issues.
I'm going to be a little slow here getting back into my role here at Microsoft, and I appreciate all the patience I can get from folks as I get back into the swing of things. So I just wanted to say hello to everyone and let them know I'm back on the job making some cool MSDN Webcasts happen for you guys.
If you want to see some pictures of what I did over there, you can find them on my personal blog at https://georgeopulikkathara.spaces.live.com/. The photo album is called TF Spartan PSYOP Detachment Commander. Enjoy. :-)
Regards,
George, MSDN Webcasts

Thanks, Bill, I appreciate hearing that. It's really good to be back in the United States and back at Microsoft again.
