Lenovo ThinkPad T430u breaks cover

Lenovo offered a sneak peek of a new ThinkPad today.  Teasers. More information apparently will be released on 1/5/2012.  See their facebook page.  There are two other posts at https://www.theverge.com/2012/1/5/2683000/lenovo-thinkpad-t430u-new-intel-processors-pricing and https://www.netbooknews.com/42499/lenovo-thinkpad-t430u-ultrabook-announced-for-849/ you should look at when you get a minute.  I see one issue right off the bat that makes the machine a possible non starter for me, but considering I can't find a cheap IdeaPad U300s for my wife, this might be just the ticket.

  As long as it has a glossy screen, which I suspect that Gorilla glass will bring, I'm afraid it will be a no-go. I was under the impression that both the T430s and the "new X1" were supposed to have a matte screen, but I think at least for the X1 that dream is shattered already ...
