Microsoft to host panel at MAKE Business Hub highlighting unique initiatives, products and campaigns designed to fuel entrepreneurship

In its continuing efforts to support Small and Medium Businesses (SMBs) in the Middle East and Africa (MEA), Microsoft is conducting a specialized event for SMBs in the UAE. Titled “Microsoft Influencer Panel Discission”, the event will be held at the MAKE Business Hub on 29th May 2013, 7:30 pm onwards.

The event is being conducted to highlight the supportive role Microsoft’s Keep Your Business Moving program plays in fueling entrepreneurship and SMB development in the UAE. The focus of this event will revolve around the Keep Your Business Moving program can help SMBs grow and expand their business, and how Microsoft’s various technologies can help SMBs accelerate their success.

The Panel at this event will include spokespersons from Microsoft, MAKE Community, Dell, selected Microsoft customers and other thought leaders. The panel will be a moderated discussion that highlights the unique role that Microsoft can play to offer solutions to SMBs and entrepreneurs, through programs such as the Keep Your Business Moving, the SMB Tech Makeover campaign, and the Windows XP end of service and Windows 8 Pro Upgrade Campaign, among others.

The spotlight will also be thrown upon products such as Office 365 and Dynamics. There’s no doubt that SMBs are increasingly competing in a global market, but they also come from diverse geographies and have very different needs, resources and goals. Events such as the “Influence Panel Discussion” will highlight the importance of technologies such as cloud computing, mobility, big data and social technologies, which are proving to be the key growth drivers of SMBs in the MEA region.

Microsoft will also share information about its solutions that can help SMBs take advantage of these trends and become the industry leaders in their region.
