Free Windows Azure Access for Scientists

Microsoft, in conjunction with the National Science Foundation (NSF) will be giving research scientists free access to Windows Azure for three years in order to help them solve problems requiring massive amounts of computation.

This will researchers to investigate problems in Genetics, Weather and other areas involving massive amounts of data and processing.
