Hey cat, uh, enthusiasts

I don't want to date you but I do think you should get your cat something for the holidays (whichever holidays you celebrate, or even if you are like me and don't really celebrate anything but like giving and receiving the gifts and the smell of evergreen).

  It may be off topic but I was wandering... so please help me learn: In Polad a single woman who has a cat is thought to be a horrible spinster. Do Americans have the same stereotype?

  Here, the stereotype (which I don't necessarily agree with) is that an older woman with many cats will stay single (or something like that).
