Microsoft Fix it Solution for Deleting Outlook profiles is Live!

clip_image002Error message when you start Outlook: "Unable to open the Outlook window," "No profile has been created," or "The list of Profiles cannot be loaded"

When you start Microsoft Outlook, you may receive one the following error messages:

Unable to open the Outlook window.

No profile has been created.

The list of Profiles cannot be loaded. An unexpected error has occurred.

After you receive the error message, Outlook does not start.

This Fix it modifies the Windows registry as described in KB 252304.

    Sorry - no URL...  I am receiving the "cannot open Outlook window" error message.  I have used this FixIt to remove profiles and subsequently (successfully) create a new profile/data file.  The error message is displayed again immediately after Outlook posts the "creating new data file" dialog. Have posted to the Outlook discussion group as well... several others seem to have encounterd this recently (Outlook 2007/Vista64).

    The real answer/solution was provided by Dan Thomas in the community discussion forum (search 'cliffb' ORhttps://www.microsoft.com/office/community/en-us/default.mspx?&query=cliffb&lang=en&cr=US&guid=&sloc=en-us&dg=microsoft.public.outlook&p=1&tid=4df24070-b33a-409f-82a5-c18385fd6739) ... use the switch /resetnavpane outlook.exe /resetnavpane Presumably, the 'fixit' for removing the profile is also needed but I cannot be sure at this point.     What a piece of crapp this product is. Everything microsoft is so unstable. I used your fixit button and now I can't even open outlook. The error message says, " Unable to open outlook."

    WHEN I OPEN UP I RECEIVE "WINDOWS-NO DISK EXCEPTION PROCESSING MESSAGE" c0000013 Parameters 75b6bf7c 4 75b6bf7c 75b6bf7c. What does this mean and how do i correct it?.

    I have multiple entries in the selection list when I start Outlook. When I try to delete the profile to recreate, a I get a message that the profile does not exist. It is in the list of profile in the e-mail program from the control panel. What to do?

    When I try to email a picture from my picture file, I get a message that says: MicroSoft Office Outlook.  No profiles have been created.  To create a New Profile, use the mail icon in the control panel.  What does this mean, how do I fix this.  Thanks
