Updates fail (among other things) with error code 8007000B. Tried this fix but it did not work, system files are corrupt. Tried to back-up the system prior to doing an Inplace Upgrade, back-up failed with error code 0x80071A91 (which is related to the update errors if I am understanding correctly) Aaarrgghhh! Vista is frustrating, too many errors!!Anonymous

Running the fix manually works, however the problem seems to recur days or weeks later. Have just downloaded and run the "Fix it" wizard so will see what happens now. Never a problem with Defender updates... but todays updates did cause a problem.Anonymous

This error 8007000B is something recent and at least for me has surfaced after installing Vista SP2. (two PCs in English, one in Finnish) Seems to crop up with each new batch of updates, and is really annoying.Anonymous

Its not yet compatible with Windows 7(x86-x64). The manual method works flawlessly. When can we see an update for this that will support Windows 7 Platforms?Anonymous
