Event ID 7000 or 7026 is logged in the System log on a computer that is running Windows 7, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2008 R2, or Windows Server 2008

INTRODUCTION

Event ID 7000 or event ID 7026 is logged in the System logon a computer that is running one of the following operating systems:

· Windows 7

· Windows Server 2008 R2

· Windows Vista

· Windows Server 2008

This problem may occur if a device is not connected to the computer but the driver service of the device is enabled. For example, the following events are logged when the computer does not have a parallel port, a DVD drive, or a CD drive.

On a Windows 7-based or Windows Server 2008 R2-based computer

Description:
The following boot-start or system-start driver(s) failed to load:
cdrom

Source: Service Control Manager
Event ID: 7000
Description:
The Parallel port driver service failed to start due to the following error:
The service cannot be started, either because it is disabled or because it has no enabled devices associated with it.

On a Windows Vista-based or Windows Server 2008-based computer

Description:

    How do I find out what the event id is throwing up?

    Hi, I found this blog when I was looking for the event ID 7026, but the problem which I have is about scsifilt. Is there any FixIt for this problem?
