    Hii meysun when iam creating a user control in visual studio and adding it to aot,the user control is not getting added to "C: Program FilesCommon FilesMicrosoft SharedWeb Server Extensions12TEMPLATELAYOUTSep” folder "location   but getting added under web control node and managed node. what may be the problem thanks in advance

    Gangadhar, You need to copy the new user control files to the C: Program FilesCommon FilesMicrosoft SharedWeb Server Extensions12TEMPLATELAYOUTSep” folder once you add it to AOT.

    To those of you experiencing issues opening the file, you need to right click on it, click properties, then at the bottom on the general tab, there is a button that says "Unblock".  Enjoy :)
