The base type for a type.
Remarks
The base type is the type from which this type directly inherits. Since the Object class type is the ultimate base class of all the other types, it is the only type that does not have a base type. In this case, nulla null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic) is returned as the base type of the Object type.
