Microsoft Silverlight Configuration Dialog Box

To configure the Silverlight plug-in, a user can right-click it and then select Silverlight. This opens the Microsoft Silverlight Configuration dialog box as shown in the following illustration.

Users can also access this dialog box from the Microsoft Silverlight folder on the Start menu or through a configuration application. On Windows, this application is found in one of the following locations:
On 32-bit operating systems: C:\Program Files\Microsoft Silverlight\versionNumber\Silverlight.Configuration.exe
On 64-bit operating systems: C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Silverlight\versionNumber\Silverlight.Configuration.exe
On Macintosh computers, users can access the configuration application by following these steps:
In Finder, navigate to /Library/Internet Plug-Ins.
Right-click (or press CTRL and then click) Silverlight.plugin and then select Show package contents.
Navigate to Contents/Resources and then double-click Silverlight.Preferences.app.

Updates Tab
The Updates tab enables users to specify when to check for, download, and install Silverlight updates. The following options are available:
Install updates automatically (recommended).
Check for updates, but let me choose whether to download and install them.
Never check for updates.

Playback Tab
The Playback tab allows users to enable or disable playback of content protected by digital rights management (DRM). For end-user documentation, see the Silverlight Privacy Statement. For developer documentation, see Digital Rights Management (DRM).
Webcam / Mic Tab
The Webcam / Mic tab allows users to choose Silverlight's default audio and video capture devices. For developer documentation, see Audio and Video.
Permissions Tab
The Permissions tab allows users to change the permissions that they have established through user-consent dialog boxes. These dialog boxes appear when an application attempts to use the StaysFullScreenWhenUnfocused setting of the Content.FullScreenOptions property and the Clipboard, AudioSink, and VideoSink classes.

Application Storage Tab
The Application Storage tab enables users to see a list of the Web sites that are using application storage space on the user's computer. For each Web site, the current usage and the maximum quota are indicated, in megabytes.
Users can use the Application Storage tab to enable or disable application storage, and to delete the storage space used by one or more Web sites.
